Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 Sept 2026 · DriveXos is published by CoderXpoint (“we”, “us”). “You” means the person or organisation using it.

1. Accepting these terms

By downloading, installing or using DriveXos, or by buying a licence, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the software.

2. The two plans

• Free — free to download and use indefinitely, with the free features described on the pricing page. No payment, no expiry.
• Lifetime — a one-time payment that unlocks every Premium feature permanently. It is not a subscription: nothing renews, and your payment method is not charged again.

3. Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use DriveXos. A Lifetime licence key unlocks Premium for you, on the computers you personally use. The full licence terms are in the Licence Agreement.

You may not resell, sublicense, rent or share your licence key, publish it, or use it to unlock the software for people who have not bought it. A key used this way may be revoked, as described in the Licence Agreement.

“Lifetime” means the lifetime of the DriveXos product. Your licence does not expire and we will not switch it off, but it does not oblige us to publish the software forever, and it does not cover a different product we may release under another name.

4. Updates

Updates and new Premium features released for DriveXos are included in your Lifetime licence at no extra cost. We do not promise any particular feature, release schedule or support period.

5. What you may not do

• Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software, except where law expressly permits it
• Remove or alter any copyright, branding or licence notice
• Circumvent, disable or tamper with licence validation
• Redistribute the installer as your own, or bundle it into another product without our written permission
• Use the software unlawfully, or to delete data you have no right to delete

6. Your data and your files

DriveXos runs locally on your machine. We never receive your file names, folder structure, scan results or cleanup history — see the privacy policy. That also means we cannot recover anything for you.

7. Deletion is your decision

DriveXos is designed so that nothing is deleted without an explicit preview and confirmation from you, the default deletion method is the Recycle Bin, and a safety engine refuses system, personal and credential locations.

Even so, you are responsible for what you confirm. Back up anything you cannot afford to lose before running any cleanup tool, ours included. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for data you chose to delete.

8. Payments

DriveXos licences are sold by CoderXpoint. Payments in Indian rupees are processed by Razorpay and payments in US dollars by PayPal; the terms of whichever you use apply to the payment itself. Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. We may change our prices at any time; a change never affects a licence you have already bought.

9. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Warranty disclaimer

DriveXos is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will identify every file that could be removed.

Nothing here excludes rights you have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue or lost data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to DriveXos is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using DriveXos at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate a licence if you materially breach these terms — in particular by sharing or tampering with a licence key. On termination, your right to use the software ends and you must uninstall it.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date, and we will email existing licence holders. Continuing to use the software after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CoderXpoint is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — subject to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
